Toxic relationship signs: how to spot patterns

“Toxic” became an easy label. What matters is the pattern: what hurts, repeats, and shrinks your space. SinalFlag names patterns without becoming an internet detector; violence and fear need another network.

Pattern vs episode

One bad day does not define the relationship. Recurring control, isolation, humiliation, constant guilt, or fear of speaking is not “a phase.”

Ask: does this return with a new excuse? After conflict, is there repair or only defense? Do you leave smaller than you entered—often?

Caution signals (without diagnosis)

Talks that always become accusations; one-sided reciprocity; checking dressed as care; ignored boundaries; apologizing to keep the peace.

SinalFlag organizes signals and frequency privately. It does not diagnose disorders or prove someone is a narcissist.

When the app is not the path

If there is threat, extreme control, violence, or fear of leaving, prioritize safety via local helplines and emergency services.

If you are safe and want to understand what repeats, take the analysis and continue in the app.
